AI has allowed for mass producing a lot of junk content at an incredible rate and pace. So, the latest update isn't about penalizing AI content; it's about poor AI content or low-quality AI content. When looking at AI, Google, and these search engines, first you have to look at which companies own the largest LLMs or AI platforms in the world, right? That's Google and Bing or Microsoft, two of the largest search engines in the world. So they're certainly not going to penalize folks that are using AI to support their content marketing and creation efforts. They're encouraging it—it's their business, a multi-billion dollar business. But what's important to note is if you abuse the system and just create rubbish content, then of course you're going to be penalized—and that's exactly how the world works, right?
